Engine starter for PZL 23B „Karaś” aircraft
The aircraft served as a light bomber or reconnaissance aircraft and was a single-engine low-wing aircraft. The design of the machine was created in the years 1931-1932 in the Państwowe Zakłady Lotnicze (State Aviation Works) in Warsaw at Okęcie, under the direction of Eng Stanisław Prauss in cooperation with DEngS Franciszek Misztal. It was subject to improvement in subsequent years. PZL 23B is one of the "Karaś" versions, 240 were produced between 1936 and 1938. By the time the Third Reich attacked Poland, 120 of such machines were in service in the Polish military aviation.
