Military helmet Mark 31
Military helmet Mark 31, probably produced in Huta "Ludwików" steelworks in Kielce. It was the basic helmet of soldiers of the Second Republic of Poland. Covered with a rough surface that eliminates light reflection (the so-called "Salamander"). The slight undercut and profiled peak are characteristic for this model. It was abandoned in a forest near Rzeczyca Długa by divisions of Polish Army demobilising in 1938.
