Tin
The metal can from a product of Joint Stock Company AZOT in Jaworzno, so-called "Paris green", also known as emerald green. An organic chemical compound, a double salt of acetic acid, metaarsenic acid, and copper on the +2 oxidation state. The substance was used as an insecticide. Visible, among other things, is a green label with the company's logo and a brief description of the product. Nitrogen plants in Jaworzno were established in 1917 and in the 1930s the Spółka Akcyjna „Azot” (Jaworzno Joint Stock Company „Azot”) became part of the state concern of the Zjednoczone Fabryki Związków Azotowych (United Factories of Nitrogen Compounds) in Mościce and Chorzów.
