Official letter

The letter from Zakłady Południowe (Southern Works) to the A.E.G. company (Katowice) dated 21 August 1939 regarding arc furnaces. It was written that after an extended operation of the so-called sour furnace on a solid charge (Zakłady Południowe - South Works), it was found that the charge was undergoing significant carburization during melting. It was found that the phenomenon was detrimental to production, and the remedial measures that the Zakłady Południowe (Southern Works) attempted to implement did not bring positive results. Therefore, advice was sought from the aforementioned A.E.G. company, which was a supplier of essential equipment to the Stalowa Wola works. A document in the form of a thin sheet of paper.
